Personally, I had never driven across the boarder to the U.S. from Canada to photograph a show… That is, until now and I’m trilled to say I’m glad I made the trip! The concert was headlined by Dayseeker for their “Pale Moonlight Tour” with support from Northlane, Wind Walkers, and Sace6 on May 6, 2026 in Buffalo at Buffalo Riverworks and was sold out.

The show opener was Sace6, and I got the sense that the majority of the crowd had never seen or heard of the band before that night. However, they put on a great opening performance. A lot of this had to do with their singer Jaden commanding the stage and getting the crowd hyped for the night.

Next in the concert lineup was Wind Walkers. They played songs like Bodybag, Silk & Static, and Hangfire. In between their songs you could hear the roaring of cheers from the crowd from the excitement of their performance.

However, on this same night the crowd would cheer every time the Buffalo Sabers would score a goal as it was the first night that they were facing the Montreal Canadians in the NHL playoffs. Regardless of the playoffs being shown on the tv’s in the venue, the crowd still was more focused on the thumping of the drums, bass and guitars slapping from Wind Walkers who gave a commanding performance.

Halfway through the night, you could tell the crowd was all geared up and ready for the main two bands people came to see. Northlane was the last opening band before Dayseeker and they did not disappoint.

Northlane came out the gate strong with their Carbonized. The Northlane crowd definitely showed up as during their set they were countless bodies going for a good ‘ol fashioned crowd surf to get the party really started. Northlane continued their set with songs like Dante, Talking Heads, and debuted a newly released song called Evian.

Unfortunately, Northlane had to cut their final song Clockwork a bit short as a crowd member had gotten hurt. So Marcus, the band’s singer, had to stop the song short by about 30 seconds to make sure that the audience member wasn’t seriously injured. Luckily for everyone she was alright to end their set on a good note.

To end the show off the headliners Dayseeker took the stage with huge excitement from the crowd. You could feel the energy shift and see the Dayseeker fans inch a little closer to the stage when they showed up on stage.

Dayseeker brought their A game when it came to their set design for the Pale Moonlight Tour. The stage was glowing in a purple/blue lighting with a coffin that lit up. The band also had their microphone stands wrapped in ivy vines and grass pieces that made you feel as if you truly were watching them perform in a graveyard.

Dayseeker played such hits like their rock radio #1 hit Crawl Back to My Coffin as well as Dreamstate, Sleeptalk, and Neon Grave. Which are all fan favourites and you could tell they are since the crowd was singing loudly in unison.

All and all it was a very entertaining night for fans of every band and a memory that I’m sure won’t be forgotten any time soon by anyone who attended the show.
