PITTSBURGH, PA — Four Chord Music Festival is heading back to Pittsburgh in a big way for 2026.
After years away from the city proper, Four Chord Music Festival 12 will return to F.N.B. Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, on September 25 and 26 with one of the festival’s most diverse lineups to date. Presented by Smartpunk, this year’s festival blends hardcore, pop-punk, emo, post-hardcore, and alternative acts across two packed days.
Friday leans heavier with performances from Knocked Loose, Underoath, Kublai Khan TX, We Came As Romans, Saosin, Counterparts, and more. Saturday shifts into a mix of pop-punk and emo favorites, featuring Pierce the Veil, Mayday Parade, Boys Like Girls, State Champs, Motion City Soundtrack, Finch, Cartel, and Mom Jeans.
The return to F.N.B. Stadium also marks a full-circle moment for festival founder Rishi Bahl, who reflected on bringing the festival back to the same location where he attended his first Vans Warped Tour.
“My love for punk rock started at the very location where we are bringing the festival back,” Bahl shared. “Bringing it back is a full-circle moment.”
Bahl also explained that the 2026 lineup was intentionally built to expand the festival’s sound while still keeping the identity longtime attendees know and love.
“We wanted to expand the festival’s reach by offering a day of bands that have never played Four Chord before, while still staying true to what helped the festival grow,” he said.
Drusky Entertainment Director of Marketing Adam Valen echoed the excitement surrounding the festival’s return to the city, calling the move back to Pittsburgh a “homecoming” moment for everyone involved.
What started as a small independent punk festival has continued to grow into one of the country’s most recognized DIY-driven alternative music festivals, bringing together fans across multiple generations of punk, emo, hardcore, and pop-punk.
