On April 28, 2026 Vana had her first ever concert in Toronto, Ontario, Canada held at The Mod Club. Vana wasn’t alone though as she brought along with her Redhook, Deadlands, and Chandler Leighton as supporting acts. During said supporting acts you could tell that the crowd was geared up for a night of metal and there was a different type of energy in the air. Afterall, it’s not every night that you get to see an all female singer lead concert.
Vana entered the room and the crowd’s excitement only heightened. The crowd cheered as Vana walked onto the stage as her set with filled with red stage lighting to compliment this current era of Vana’s style. She opened the set with a banger and one of her latest single’s “Prey”. Vana really and her band really know how to work a crowd. During the set there was a special moment where she asked one lucky fan to come up on stage with her and open up packs of magic cards and give them away to the crowd. Later in the set Vana had another unique concert moment. She asked everyone to get into the circle pit and whoever caught this stuffed monkey that her brother threw into the crowd and caught it would win a free item from her merch table after the show.
The setlist included other crowd favourites such as “HARLEQUIN!”, “SERPENTINE”, “BITE BACK”, and she closed out the show with “BEG!” and “Clandestine” to end it with a bang. After the set finished Vana took the opportunity to ask the crowd to all squeeze together like a big family and take a photo with her and her band. Fans of Vana then received drum sticks, picks and set lists galore thrown into the crowd. After this first successful show in Toronto, I believe we’ll all be seeing more of Vana in the near future and with a bigger crowd next time as well.
