On March 5th 2026, Las Vegas pop punk band High Sierra Club announced their explosive new single ‘Early Sundown.’ The track serves as the second installment in a six single rollout leading up to their forthcoming EP Love All by Itself Isn’t Enough. Fueled by driving guitars, urgent rhythms, and emotionally charged lyricism, “Early Sundown” captures the chaos of arguments that spiral beyond resolution, reaching the point where frustration outweighs clarity and emotional exhaustion takes over.
“‘Early Sundown’ is about being completely drained from arguing,” shares vocalist and guitarist Matthew Mosca. “It’s that chaotic spiral where you are not even sure what you are fighting about anymore. You lose yourself in the middle of the conversation, say things you do not mean, and walk away more exhausted than when you started. We wanted it to feel frantic and loud because arguments are not clean or poetic. They are messy.”
Earlier this year, the band kicked off 2026 with “Talk,” a punchy and emotionally charged single centered on miscommunication and the need for honesty in relationships that feel stuck. While “Talk” confronts the deafening silence between two individuals, “Early Sundown” explores what happens when the conversation finally erupts emotionally. Often, one person chooses to placate the other simply to remove themselves from the situation. Together, the two tracks begin shaping the emotional landscape of Love All by Itself Isn’t Enough, a project rooted in the idea that love without growth, communication, and accountability can slowly begin to unravel.
Since forming in 2019, Las Vegas pop punk outfit High Sierra Club, made up of Matthew Mosca (vocals and guitar), Jacob Grabner (bass), Dominic Maglalang (drums), and Gerry Trevino (lead guitar), have steadily built momentum across the western United States through electrifying live performances and emotionally honest songwriting. The band has shared stages with The Home Team, HUNNY, I Set My Friends on Fire, 408, and Good Terms, continuing to carve out their place within the modern alternative scene.

About High Sierra Club:
High Sierra Club is a four-piece pop-punk/alternative rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, known for their cathartic live shows and raw, confessional songwriting. Formed in 2019, the band consists of Matthew Mosca (vocals/guitar), Jacob Grabner (guitar), Dominic Maglalang (bass), and Gerry Trevino (drums).
Rooted in the modern pop-punk revival while pulling influence from early 2010s melodic hardcore and alternative rock, High Sierra Club crafts songs that teeter urgency with emotional transparency. Their music engages themes of miscommunication, emotional turmoil, relational burnout, limerence, and the complicated realities of growing up.
Their discography includes fan-favorite single “Write You a Letter,” a deceptively simple, Weezer-leaning anthem that pairs tongue-in-cheek humor with an undercurrent of obsessive longing. With the release of “Talk” (2026) and now “Early Sundown” (2026), the band steps into a sharper, more refined era leading toward their upcoming EP Love All by Itself Isn’t Enough.
With a DIY ethos and a commitment to authenticity, High Sierra Club continues to build steam both on stage and online — delivering soul-stirring hymns for anyone navigating love, conflict, and self-discovery.
